.: The valley of Ourika :.

The Ourika valley is located 30 km from Marrakech, this valley is mainly populated by Berbers and gradually engulfed in the High Atlas of Morocco. Despite its proximity to Marrakech, it’s still considered a preserved relatively valley. His visit can combine the discovery of a spectacular nature and a traditional mountain lifestyle.

The Ourika valley has several historic buildings including:

• Setti Fatma Latest douar accessible by paved road, this little village is the starting point for many excursions in the mountains cyclic up. Hiking the most popular and easiest is a ride along a stream mountain to uncover 7 waterfalls.


• Tnine-de-l'Ourika : Small douar no great architectural interest in which is held every Monday, a traditional souk.


• Timalizene Garden : Beautiful garden planted mainly mountain species from the region. At once poetic and playful, charming it can drop the fields.


• The saffron of Ourika : Farm which has the distinction of producing Safran. His visit is particularly interesting in late October to mid-November when the harvest of this very popular spice.


• Garden bio-aromatic of Ourika : The organic garden of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants can to discover the scents and medicinal plants.
